I am a board certified psychiatrist dedicated to providing evidence based patient centered care with a focus on thoughtful medication management. I work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that support emotional stability, improved functioning and overall well being. Practicing in the Northern Virginia area for the past 20 years , i serve a diverse community and see patients across all age groups . My emphasis is on clear communication, collaboration and careful monitoring of medications to optimise outcomes while minimizing side effects. My goal is to create an environment where patients feel empowered.
Our practice offers outpatient psychiatric Evaluation & ongoing medication management & ECT consultation & treatment for patients of all age groups .We participate with most major insurances. Our practice does not offer " therapy services " We work collaboratively with several therapists to provide our patients the most comprehensive treatment.
Dr.Rhea Mehra is a Board Certified Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.Her expertise is in Pharmacological management & ECT ( Electro convulsive therapy ). She completed her Residency & Fellowship at Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic,Unversity of Pittsburgh with visiting fellowship in ECT at Duke.
