Pursuing treatment for mental health symptoms can take significant courage, humility, and vulnerability. We feel fortunate to have the opportunity to engage, connect, and heal. Many people struggle at times with mood or anxiety symptoms, whether of relatively recent onset or since earlier in life. We appreciate the opportunity to help patients address their symptoms and engage in a collaborative and hopefully productive treatment process. We work with adults and primarily treat depression, anxiety (including worry, panic), bipolar, trauma, adjustment disorders, stress, OCD, ADHD, etc.
Republic Psychiatry Southlake was started by Dr. Mahta Ostadian & Dr. Nishant Patel. We are board certified psychiatrists, married after meeting in medical school. We previously practiced in the Seattle area and are excited to be back in Texas & serving a new community. We value building therapeutic relationships with our patients.
We can provide medication management and, in some cases, psychotherapy (around relationships, family dynamics, stress, loss, etc). We can also refer you to a good therapist as needed.
