Dr. Ahmed is a Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Ahmed has many years of experience in treating mental illnesses. After an initial diagnostic interview, individualized treatment plan is discussed with clients. This may include medication management, psychotherapy or a combination of both depending on your symptoms and needs. Dr. Ahmed also offers TMS treatment for Depression in his Okemos office. Dr. Ahmed treats clients with mental illnesses like Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Anxiety & Panic Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Although I wish you were not in a position to need/want my services, I am glad to be able to provide them if necessary. After more than 20 years of practicing as a psychiatrist and over 15 as a psychoanalyst, we should be able to deal with your serious concerns in confidence. I am a former faculty member of the University of Michigan School of Nursing where I taught undergraduate and graduate level theory and clinical courses in psychiatric nursing. I have also taught graduate students at Michigan State University and practiced in a variety of settings.
