Dr. Kasi believes that successful treatment begins with understanding the unique strengths, challenges, and goals of each patient and family. Her approach combines thoughtful psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, psychotherapy-informed care, and close collaboration with parents, therapists, schools, pediatricians, and other members of a patient's support team.
Dr. Kasi is currently in BCBS and is pending Cigna PPO, United Health Care PPO, Medicare, and Aetna PPO.
Prior to joining Stillpoint, Dr. Kasi spent 9 years at Rush University Medical Center as an attending psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. She provided psychiatric care for children and adolescents across outpatient and inpatient settings and helped train future psychiatrists through her work with medical students, residents, and fellows.
Dr. Kasi is fluent in Spanish.
She strives to create a collaborative, supportive environment where children, adolescents, young adults, and their families feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the treatment process.
Outside of work, Dr. Kasi enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, exploring home design, and pizza making!
