I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I was an elementary school teacher for 20 years, so I have extensive experience with children. I also have 8 years of inpatient psychiatric experience with adults,adolescents, and geriatric patients,so my experience is all-encompassing. I am also well versed in children with oppositional defiant disorder and DMDD amd have used Matthew's protocol with patients with these conditions.
I am a compassionate listener and have a non judgemental approach.My job is to diagnose and find a medication that works best for you, but medications may not always be necessary. I am open to using supplements and naturopathic treatments in addition to pharmaceuticals.
