I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice. I have been in the field of Mental Health for over 15 years, with an extensive experience in the treatment of mental health disorders ranging from Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Impulse Control Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Schizophrenia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Insomnia, to Substance Abuse. The treatment modalities I offer include: Medication management (Pharmacotherapy) and Psychotherapy.
I can help clients by listening with empathy to their description of existing problem, get a good understanding and collaborate with them in planning suitable evidence based treatment regimen. I trained at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner; and Chatham University as a Doctor of Nursing Practice.
