I am a board certified adult psychiatrist and have been helping patients to manage psychiatric illness for over 15 years. I believe in an empathic, non-judgemental and collaborative approach to care. I specialize in the treatment of depression and anxiety, but enjoy treating a variety of illnesses including: ADHD, substance use disorders, Bipolar DIsorders, PTSD, OCD and Schizophrenia.
I served as Chief Resident at Rush University Medical Center and later joined Rush faculty as Medical Director of their Mood and Anxiety Practice before transitioning to private practice. When I am not practicing medicine, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family, especially my two young children.
I see patients through Samaracare Counseling via telehealth or in person at our Wheaton location. Please note, though my practice was previously closed to new intakes, due to schedule changes, I am currently able to provide new patients appointments within the next few weeks to months.
