I am a board-certified psychiatrist with advanced training in child and adolescent psychiatry and clinical expertise working with college students, young adults, working professionals, and executives. I am licensed to practice medicine in New York and Connecticut. I specialize in treating individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, and challenging life transitions. I am Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Stamford Health. I am an award-winning medical educator with previous faculty appointments at NYU School of Medicine, Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.
I received my bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis and my medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. I completed psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center.
