About
"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination” (Carl Rogers). Discovering one’s healthy balance can be pursuit of a lifetime and taking steps to further your health can be challenging in the beginning but rewarding at the same time. It will be my privilege to facilitate your path towards achieving healthy emotional wellbeing. I am a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. My consultation visit starts with thorough understanding of your treatment needs and symptoms, and may span over 1-2 visits.
The treatment will be tailored to your individual goals and often includes the use of brief psychotherapy integrated within the medication management visits. I also offer psychotherapy visits only for limited cases.
My practice focuses on utilizing evidence based treatment with a strong focus on healthy life style changes to help you achieve your emotional wellbeing. I have a special interest in understanding and treating anxiety disorders in both children and adults. For further information and to request consultation, please visit my website, www.rkraimd.com
