I am an adult psychiatrist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience. My patients and I work together to understand the meaning behind their symptoms. Understanding facilitates change in the way they feel, think and relate to the people most important to them. I have worked with a wide age range of patients from college-aged students to older adults. Some of my patients are on medications and some are not. I do not see children under the age of 17.
I participate with Medicare but do not participate in any commercial insurance plans. I do not participate with Medicare Advantage plans or managed Medicare plans. Many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out of network providers. This is something I would be happy to discuss further with my patients.
