I am an MD, double Board-certified psychiatrist providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ patients seeking medication management for depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorder, ADHD and other conditions. I've worked with members of the community in different settings, including LGBTQ+ refugees and sexuality/gender based asylum seekers. My goal is to provide an environment where my patients can bring their full selves to their encounter with their physician. I accept patients from anywhere in California, my sessions are online.
My expertise is in managing treatment-resistant symptoms. I also work with people receiving too many psychiatric medications who wish to safely simplify their medication regimen. I like to make sure that you have all the information you need to make decisions about your medications. What I value the most in my work is transparent communication with patients.
I know it is not easy to find a psychiatrist who truly listens and makes an effort to see and value all of your identity. I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can create my own practice and set my own rules, which is why I started this practice. I want to help individuals from our community heal and thrive.
