As a board certified psychiatrist and pediatrician, my practice involves working with individuals across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to young adults and professionals. I have also worked in a university student health service, and am well-informed about problems unique to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students facing academic difficulties or anxiety due to academic pressures. Just as every individual is unique, so is their treatment. It is my job to create a meaningful and appropriate treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.
My approach to medicine is thoughtful and cautious; I will suggest the need for medication, but only when necessary and appropriate. I also value psychotherapy, and view it as a deeply personal, individualized, and dynamic process.
