I'm a board-certified adult psychiatrist practicing in Silver Lake on the Eastside of Los Angeles, using psychotherapy, medication, lifestyle improvements, as well as whole-body, holistic and complementary approaches to provide thoughtful and compassionate care to creative and other professionals. Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Trained in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, I am a psychiatrist who takes a compassionate, down-to-earth, and evidence-based approach to care. I believe in modalities of wellness from both Western and Eastern philosophies and enjoy helping others find the treatment that works best for them. I'm Dr. Mitchell, DNP, PMHNP- BC and US Air Force Veteran. As a psychiatric provider, my aim is to identify, address and modify conditions, limiting patterns and behaviors that diminish function and suppress growth. My philosophy is Bio-Psycho-Social; I acknowledge the whole dynamic being and maintain the explicit intent of fostering personal accountability, growth and development. I approach each therapeutic encounter as a unique opportunity to facilitate the process of expanding awareness and elevating consciousness. Dr. Begel received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Yale University, where he also completed his residency in psychiatry. At Yale he studied the conceptual foundations of psychiatry and the core principles of diverse treatment methods. Today he treats people for a wide variety of issues, from the seemingly mild to the severe. He is up to date on psychiatric research and treatment, and utilizes the full range of methods in his work, including genetic analysis, psychotherapy, and medication management.

Dr. Chen is a highly trained and experienced psychiatrist specializing in a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD. With years of experience, he has worked in diverse clinical settings, from emergency rooms and medical floors to inpatient psychiatric hospitals and community outpatient clinics. His expertise extends to supporting recovery and return to work for patients dealing with workplace challenges, reflecting a deep commitment to comprehensive patient rehabilitation.

A holistic provider, he combines non-pharmacologic approaches - including psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy - in addition to medication.
