Dr. Kenia is a board certified and licensed Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst who believes in a holistic approach. As former Medical Director of the Center for Intensive Treatment of Personality Disorders she has the unique background and experience required to help those with a diagnosis of personality disorder and/or histories of trauma.
Her experience at the William F. Ryan Center has given her a background proficient in management of depression, anxiety and mood disorders. While as a Psychiatrist at the counseling center at NYU Dr. Kenia has developed a special interest in the struggles unique to young adults and academics. As the child of South Asian immigrants Dr.Kenia is sensitive to the struggles of immigration as well as those of the children of South Asian immigrants.
