About
There is no "ideal client," just as there is no "ideal" human. We are all flawed, imperfect, multifaceted, and challenging in our own ways. I don't limit my practice to a certain type of person or diagnosis because I enjoy the challenge of meeting people where they are and discovering together what it is that brings them joy and fulfillment in life. I treat people 13 years and older and have extensive experience working with young adults transitioning to and from college, mid-career professionals struggling with work-life imbalance, women with perinatal mood disorders, as well as retirees who grapple with aging.
As a board certified psychiatrist I am trained in evidence based approaches to care. I provide medication management, individual therapy, and a combination thereof when indicated. I work with with adolescents and adults in all different stages of life who struggle with behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that prevent them from living the life that they want.
Above all else I strive to be empathetic and genuine in my practice of psychiatry. I am a compassionate and knowledgeable physician who provides holistic mental health care for people from all cultural backgrounds. I am a truth-speaking, unconditionally accepting, and forward-thinking person who hopes to meet you where you're at in your journey for wellness.
