I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner devoted to supporting adolescents and young adults during some of the most important and often challenging stages of life. My goal is to empower young people with the tools they need to move with confidence toward healing, connection, and a meaningful life. I strive to create a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe healing begins with connection, and I work to build trusting relationships that honor each person's unique story, experiences, and identity.
My approach is integrative, combining evidence-informed medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, and functional psychiatry. By exploring the root causes of mental health concerns and considering the whole person, I work collaboratively with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that support lasting wellness.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked in epidemiological research and served as a statistics professor at The College of William & Mary. My background in research helps me guide patients in understanding their treatment options. Working with emerging adults for many years inspired my career change and my commitment and approach to care.
