Many clients come to me because they feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or other mood disorders. I have over 14 years of nursing experience, including addiction medicine, and have worked with diverse populations in community mental health settings.
I’m passionate about decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health, a passion rooted in my own experience supporting a close relative through their struggles. My patient-centered approach incorporates cultural and religious values into care, and I view the therapeutic alliance as the key to lasting change.
I have experience working with LGBTQ individuals, seniors, patients with autism, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
