Dr. Kumar is very passionate about working with children and their families and making a difference in their lives. I am trained in the use of both medication management and brief psychotherapy to help individuals reach their desired goals. I have experience in treating a range of Psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma related disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. Dr. Emily Wu is a Harvard-trained M.D. Psychiatrist. She is Double Board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. She is licensed to practice in Texas. She completed a two-year advanced fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital through Harvard Medical School. She did her residency in Adult Psychiatry at Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program. She obtained her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude.
