I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Mary of the Woods College, and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing. I earned my Masters of Science in Orthopedics at Grace College and my Masters of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Northwest.

She earned her associates degree from Wabash Valley College and received her undergraduate and masters degree in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, which is the second largest nursing organization in the world. She was also a qualifier for the Presidents Medal at the University of Southern Indiana.
