I am a board-certified psychiatrist with an MD from The Ohio State University and a PhD in cell and developmental biology. I have extensive training in psychotherapy for both adults and children. I have helped many patients achieve lasting, thorough changes toward a happy and fulfilling life. The issues include ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, self-harm, paranoia, PTSD, and psychotic disorder. I treat my patients with a combination of psychotherapy and medication. My psychotherapy approaches include psychodynamic and supportive psychotherapy, CBT, and play therapy, whichever proves to be most appropriate and effective.

I am committed to always providing client education, client-centered care, supportive therapy, evidence-based techniques, and evidence-based treatment interventions in my practice. Naturally, I have always been engaged in coaching others through life and inspiring them towards their goals. I am committed to help others work towards small, reasonable, and realistic goals to achieve their long term goals. Treating the whole person is essential in my practice. Incorporation of all of these areas is necessary to promote healing in individuals who are experiencing emotional distress.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS--Come see our newly renovated offices conveniently located across from Wright State University. Our therapists are physicians who have graduated medical school and are completing the final years of their psychiatric training. We treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship problems in children, adolescents, and adults. We are unable to accept referrals or any form of insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid and CareSource. Medication management cannot be the sole reason for a visit. We regret the inconvenience.

Everyone’s path to wellness can look much different. I view each person as an individual and create a plan that is unique to you and your struggles. I believe that anyone who takes the path to wellness deserves to have a voice and to be treated with respect and empowerment. I treat patients of all ages from 5+. I enjoy working with both children and adults. I am currently pursuing specialty certification in Perinatal Mental Health to treat women both during and after their pregnancy. I have also been certified in pediatrics and critical care as an RN. I strive to help patient's with their overall health.

My overall aim is to provide the best evidence-based level of care for my clients. I care about them and what they need. I work collaborative with clients to develop goals and how to achieve them. I also want to make certain that others the client cares about are included in our collaborative planning process. My ideal client is the one who I am working with at the time! I am Board Certified at the Doctorate level to provide therapies and biopsychosocial care for ages 13 years and throughout the lifespan. I use mindfulness and a calm atmosphere in order to meet individual, couple, family and even community needs.

Hi! I have been in mental health care for almost 15 years in a variety of settings. The bulk of my experience has been in the high acuity setting of Emergency Psychiatry. I have a passion for empathic care that seeks to understand and help those dealing with not just mental illness, but the stress of life in general. I treat individuals of all ages and mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety. I am also particularly passionate about providing care for psychotic and psychosis related disorders, as well as working with sexual identity and gender identity concerns.
