I believe that each individual is unique and requires a personalized approach to therapy. Drawing from my training at Columbia and Yale, I treat people going through difficult life circumstances including relationship difficulties, family problems, anxiety, trauma and job stress. I also have expertise in working with a range of psychiatric illnesses, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and OCD. I have a special interest in working with college and graduate students and patients with complex trauma histories. By integrating psychotherapy with medication management, I strive to help patients attain their goals.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist with specialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry, and a Clinical Instructor at Yale University School of Medicine. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, OCD, and personality disorders.
I offer a compassionate, thoughtful approach to treatment. After a comprehensive assessment, I make recommendations based on your goals. I often recommend complementary alternative medicine, psychotherapy and medications. My office is close to New York University (NYU), Parsons/The New School, and the School of Visual Arts (SVA.)
