I graduated from the University of Texas Arlington and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP. I am delighted to serve patients from preteen to older adults. I am experienced in treating patients with ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, insomnia, substance use disorders among other disorders. My primary practice goal is to partner with the client, and when appropriate the client’s family, to determine the best approach in relieving suffering and improving wellness.  All aspects of an individual’s life can impact mental health and therefore I take a holistic approach when working with my clients.  This often includes lifestyle and environmental modifications, engagement in psychotherapy, and evaluation of appropriateness for medication treatment.

My name is Dr. Michael Sun. I graduated from Harvard University and Dartmouth Medical School before completing my adult psychiatry residency training at Duke University and my child and adolescent fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Before moving to Seattle, I was the Site Director for Education at the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Unit for the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.

Mercy, as a provider, takes a nonjudgmental, sympathetic approach and believes that every individual has the ability to reach his or her full potential. Mercy adds wellness therapies such as healthy sleep, exercise, diet, mindfulness, and social connectedness into her clients' treatment programs in addition to medication management.
