I treat adult patients who are dealing with a variety of psychiatric conditions. Everyone who comes to my office has a unique history and needs, and together we work out an individualized treatment plan. For some, our sessions are primarily focused on psychotherapy, problem solving and encouraging healthy lifestyle changes. For others, we focus more on medication management. Regardless of the approach, the goal is to reduce suffering and improve functioning so that people are better able to lead their lives.
I graduated from the New York University School of Medicine in 2000. I then completed a residency in general psychiatry at the University of Washington in 2004. The following year, I completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the Tulane University School of Medicine. I have been practicing full time back in Washington since 2009.
