Through Inside Out CURE, my focus is to help individuals become more Compassionate, Understanding, and aware of their strengths and vulnerabilities, while developing Resilience & Empathy. I am a Harvard trained infant, child, & adult psychiatrist. Because of my unique background in infancy, parenting, perinatal health, ADHD, child and adult psychiatry, I offer services to all age groups by applying principals of psychotherapy, pharmacology, and neuroscience. I also do school consultation and provide comprehensive evaluations for excessive social media use, PTSD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and stress or burnout.

My approach to helping people is patient-centered and integrative. I practice evidence-based approaches and shared decision making. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner trained at University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers University and a licensed psychologist trained at Temple University. As an assistant professor of medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School I teach family medicine residents and medical students psychopharmacology, behavioral health and life style medicine. This provides me with a breadth of knowledge and unique experience particularly when people have physical health problems.

I don't have an ideal client, except that they are open to change. I will see anyone who asks for help, but I expect they are or will be willing to change. I attempt to understand the patient as a whole, from birth to the present, from a medical, psychological, familial, and neurological perspective. I am focused on practical solutions and removing emotional blocks to making progress. I speak directly and am primarily concerned about the relationship with my patients. I am an avid advocate for my patients.

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I completed my Associates in Applied Science Nursing From Brookdale Community College, Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Aspen University, and Masters of Science in Nursing at Walden University. I currently hold the title of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in New York, New Jersey and Florida. I have worked the last 4 years in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY.

Dr. Issac is an experienced addiction and general psychiatrist with eight years of experience. He has helped many overcome their mental health challenges. Issac evaluates, diagnoses, and treats people based on their medical pathology, nutritional, and hormonal health. People suffering from addictions, or with other mental health challenges, such as anxiety, and depression, can recover with the correct diagnosis and treatment. Combining medications with psychotherapy, Dr. Issac considers various medical factors to treat his patients; he plans comprehensive treatments. His warmth and compassion are welcoming and supportive.

I am board certified in Psychiatry. I am recognized by American Psychiatric Association (APA). I did my basic schooling and medical school in India. Completed Psychiatric residency in Southern Illinois University, Springfield, Illinois in 2016. I also have a brief psychiatric experience in Jamaica, West Indies, where I lived for couple of years before moving to United States. Later practiced as adult outpatient psychiatrist in Las Cruces, New Mexico until May, 2022. While in New Mexico, I volunteered to teach the Psychiatric residents from University of New Mexico and supervised the Nurse Practitioners.

I am a Yale educated and Harvard trained psychiatrist currently licensed in PA and NJ. My work integrates therapeutic approaches rooted in science with the art of healing. I begin with a thorough assessment (medical, nutritional and psychosocial), and work hard to tailor treatment to you needs. Our work may entail talk therapy, skills coaching, nutritional assessment and repair, meditation and mindfulness exercises, and if indicated, medication treatment. When medications are used, I work diligently to minimize side effects and monitor potential interactions.
