Dr. Figgs was a member of the United States Army Reserves from 2013-2021 and has worked on base at Fort Hood, TX and at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, giving her extensive experience in treating members of the military and their unique mental health issues.

I treat adults with a wide variety of problems. My treatment is tailored to the individual needs of my patients and includes psychotherapy and the prescription of medication. Treatment is in a private and confidential setting. The first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, lasting about 75 minutes. At the end of the evaluation, recommendations for treatment will be discussed. If there are medical issues, I will collaborate with other physicians as needed, and with your consent. Follow-up appointments will be arranged and scheduled as needed. Office hours are Monday through Friday by appointment, with some evening hours available.
