Hi Friends! My name is Catie; I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner offering medication management via telehealth! I enjoy caring for diverse populations, children, the LGBTQ+ community, and peripartum/postpartum women. I have found that my clients in the adolescent and young adult age groups find me incredibly calming and relatable. My patients living with substance use challenges express feeling relieved after opening up to me because of my nonjudgmental approach. My goal as a provider is to make you feel as open and comfortable as possible and get you to live a life you love again.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist practicing in Colorado who specializes in psychotherapy and medication management, with special expertise in reproductive psychiatry. I provide compassionate and specialized care for a broad range of conditions. I commonly help people with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma. I love working with women planning for pregnancy and through the perinatal period, as well as supporting those experiencing infertility and women facing the hormone shifts of perimenopause.

I obtained my degree from the University of Colorado and have experience with serving individuals across the lifespan within a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, residential, crisis settings, and via “Tele” psychiatry. During sessions, I strive to ensure that your concerns are not only addressed, but truly heard, and that you are able to experience hope and confidence along the journey towards the best you.

Psychiatric medications are implemented to decrease the severity and intensity of symptoms. Amber Grob has a conservative approach to medications. Specifically, diagnoses can be managed with limited medications on a consistent basis, as well as as needed medications. In some situations, there are compounding health or medical issues that can make this difficult. Medical, physical, hormonal and physiological components can be factors contributing to the presentation of psychiatric symptoms. All of this is assessed at your first appointment, as well as ongoing. Amber Grob also provides Genetic Testing for medication metabolism.

Dr. Laura Obler is board-certified in adult psychiatry. She received her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, California, where she stayed to complete her psychiatry residency at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience. During residency she received specialized training in reproductive psychiatry (the treatment of women who are considering pregnancy or are pregnant or postpartum) and acted as Chief Resident of the Women’s Life Center at UCLA. She has previously worked in community clinics in the greater Los Angeles area and as a staff psychiatrist at UCLA.

I am accepting NEW telehealth patients in Colorado. I strive to deliver high-quality telepsychiatry care that utilizes the most recent advancements in psychiatry. I have been a PMHNP for over 10 years. I am passionate about providing patient-centered care and in building a therapeutic relationship with all of my patients. I practice using a holistic approach with supportive therapeutic modalities, along with psychotropic medication management, if needed. I am passionate about treating and improving the lives of those who struggle with chronic mental health disorders as well as those with situational stressors.

I am a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice since 2011. I work with children, adolescents and adults and offer medication management services as well as therapy. My focus is working with attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD), depression, anxiety, mood disorders and other behavioral conditions. I assess and diagnose mental health conditions and create treatment plans focusing on wellness, therapy, nutritional psychiatry, and prescribe - when appropriate - psychiatric medications for children, adolescents, and adults.

I am a board certified psychiatrist who works with adults struggling with a variety of issues. I am an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, teaching and training medical students and psychiatry residents. In addition to general psychiatry, I have extensive experience treating women who are or who are considering becoming pregnant. Though medications can be helpful, they often do not provide the deep and lasting change many patients desire. For this reason, I sought advanced psychotherapy training after completing my psychiatric residency.
