We offer Medication Management, Counseling/Psychotherapy, and Neuropsychological Testing in our network of clinics and online via our Telepsychiatry Services throughout Florida. Our team of experienced mental health professionals includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Certified Physician Assistants, and Licensed Therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 5 and above. We accept most insurance plans including Medicare.

My current practice is primarily oriented toward psycho-pharmacological treatment. My main clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, geriatric patients with memory and emotional disorders of. I also treat adult and adolescent patients with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Psychotherapy at the office is provided by licensed practitioners under my supervision, I also established collaborative relationships with a number of area psychotherapists, as well as neurologists. In addition, I perform independent medical valuations of psychiatric disability (IME).

Jermilla is a controlled substance-free provider. When it comes to controlled substances, I strongly believe there is a level of long-term oversight needed that telehealth does not provide. An in-person relationship is better suited to managing and monitoring use of these medications. As a telehealth provider of psychiatry services, Thriveworks will follow evidence-based best practices and step out of the controlled substance space. This includes any benzodiazepine, hypnotic sleep aid and stimulant.

Dr. Zimko is a Board Certified Psychiatrist in the Tampa Bay Area. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Delaware in 2012 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Minors in Medical Humanities, Medical Diagnostics, and Biology. He graduated from Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated his Psychiatry Residency at Largo Medical Center in 2020 and was Chief Resident in his final year. He serves as part of the the Medical Executive Committee of Suncoast Behavioral Health Center. His hobbies include cooking, home-brewing and spending time with his Wife, Daughter, & Corgi (Luna)
