About
**Please note: I am not accepting new patients at this time** I am a board certified perinatal psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and perinatal psychiatry. I take a holistic and integrative approach to psychiatric treatment, and believe that no single modality can fix everything. In addition to prescribing medication when necessary, I provide psychotherapy as a means to navigate life transitions, interpersonal conflict, and identity shifts.
While I specialize in women's mental health, I do have expertise working with patients who are struggling with a wide variety of issues. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the George Washington University School of Medicine, I serve as a faculty supervisor for the Five Trimesters Perinatal Psychiatry Clinic.
I am conservative with medications, and enjoy working closely and collaboratively with my patients. I have special interests in working with women who suffer from the following conditions: depression and anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum, grief after perinatal loss or trauma, and sexual health disorders like vulvodynia and dyspareunia.
