My name is Dr. Longa. I provide in-person or telehealth management for anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum, and other mental/behavioral health challenges ranging from self-image, self-esteem/self-worth, accomplishment/career worries, drug/alcohol addictions, relationship conflicts, and stress in life. These are most often intertwined with a lot of mental illnesses. I approach my work with compassion and empathy. I place high value on my patients' perceptions by listening to them. I emphasize psychotherapy and psychopharmacology based on the current state of the patient as well as patient preferences. Patients are advised to use a multifaceted approach to treatment.
With more than ten years in the psychiatric field, I place a strong emphasis on self-care, exercise, healthy/good nutrition, good relationships, spirituality/belief in something worthwhile, and positive self-talk.
