Hadi Estakhri, MD — or Dr. E as his patients know him — is a double board-certified, Harvard-trained psychiatrist practicing at Allied Psychiatry and Mental Health in Newport Beach, California. He offers customized, patient-focused treatments to address the unique needs and circumstances of each patient. With more than two decades of professional experience, he has vast proficiency in the mental health field. His expertise is in treating a wide range of psychiatric and addictive disorders in both adult and adolescents.

J. Paul Gatdula is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from West Coast University and achieved Magna Cum Laude. He then earned his Master’s degree from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. J. Paul started his career as a psychiatric nurse and has 5 years of experience in mental and behavioral health. He has worked in Magnet hospitals in both inpatient and emergency room settings, and is experienced in treating patients of all ages, cultures, and genders.

Dr. Nicole Poliquin has dedicated her life to helping people put their lives back together. She has many years of experience in the psychiatric field. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, she is also a Diplomate of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry.

If once-a-week Zoom therapy has poor results, call us. We do 1- Individual therapy 2- Family therapy 3- Group therapy 4- Psychiatrist appointments. The most common issues we see are self harm, suicidal ideation, depression, and anxiety. If your child is experiencing one of these issues, please call us. We have a great track record when dealing with these issues. We are seeing major improvements in teens we treat. We currently have kids in our program who were suicidal just a few months ago, and now they are feeling much better and are heavily involved in college prep activities like honors classes, sports, band, etc.

Accepting New Patients - Dr. Ara completed her fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (CLP) at UCLA. CLP is a subspecialty of psychiatry that focuses on treating mental health issues in patients with complex medical conditions. Before her fellowship training, she completed her psychiatry residency at the University of New Mexico and earned her M.D. degree from Tehran University.

Penny Greaves has over twenty years of Nursing experience and received her bachelor's in nursing in 2007 and a Master's of Nursing with a primary care nurse practitioner certificate in 2010 from Ryerson University, in Toronto, Canada. She obtained her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree in 2021 from the National University and is dual certified with the ANCC in psychiatry and the AANP in family practice. She is currently pursuing a psychology doctorate degree (PsyD) to improve health outcomes. She is experienced with adults, adults with addictions, complex mental health problems, geriatrics, and dementia.

I would rather teach a skill than prescribe a pill, but I will. In other words, if you or someone you know is on or in need of psychiatric medications, yet would prefer to explore other ways to address their current circumstances, my practice is a great fit.
