She has delivered comprehensive psychiatric care to children, adolescents and adults on inpatient psychiatric units and is skilled at managing people in crisis. She has also worked as a geriatric psychiatric specialist, a crisis counselor for foster children, and a behavioral specialist. Joanne’s compassion for people in mental distress led her to continue her education to be able to diagnose and treat patients.
