My name is Dr. Alok Rawat. I am a board-certified psychiatrist with a focus on helping people with anxiety, depression, and mood/bipolar disorders, serving the Bethesda/Chevy Chase/Kensington, Maryland area as well as the Ellicott City/Columbia, Maryland area. I specialize in life-coaching and helping you find a better balance in your life, especially for busy professionals who want a goal-oriented approach to psychiatry. My interventions are evidence-based and time limited. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as life-coaching and motivational techniques, I also provide medication management where indicated.

Dr. Schubert MD is a Board Certified in General Psychiatry and has experience in and passion for treating a diverse patient population with particular interest in young (and young at heart) adults and professionals struggling with mental health issues ranging from depression and anxiety disorders, mood and trauma disorders, personality and interpersonal relationship struggles to psychosomatic and eating disorders and psychological issues related to chronic/acute medical illness.

At times people feel confused, lost and have persistent feelings of sadness, depression, hopelessness, and low self-esteem. A lot of people feel that counseling, therapy, going to see a shrink, is not cool but at times you just need to talk to someone to feel free. There will be no judgment and you will have a safe place to share those feelings.

I am awaiting BCBS, Tricare and Medicaide. . I provide super bills that may be submitted to the insurance companies. I specialize in Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar.
