My practice specializes in Geriatric and Adult Psychiatry. We offer expert evaluation, work up, and management of cognitive disorders (i.e. Alzheimer's, Lewy Body, Vascular, and Frontotemporal Dementias), mood and anxiety disorders (i.e. Depression, Bipolar Disorder, GAD, Panic DO, etc), Insomnia, and "Behavioral Disturbances" associated with Dementia (including agitation, delusions, and hallucinations).
We also offer TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) in our Raritan and Cedar Knolls offices - an FDA approved non-drug treatment for refractory Depression. It is an effective treatment option for patients who are not improving with antidepressants. It is also non-invasive, non-sedating, non-systemic, and is covered by all major insurances.
We will take a detailed history, perform a medical assessment as indicated, and offer patient-centered treatment options such as lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, medications, and TMS. As a graduate of Yale University's Geriatric Psychiatry program, and Duke University's TMS program, I have extensive experience and training to offer.
