I am board certified Child and Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for wellness and integrative care of psychopharmacology with psychotherapy. I utilize a holistic, client centric approach to mental health where compassionate and supportive care are fostered. I am well-versed in working with clients individually and therapeutically treating diverse concerns that include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, post traumatic stress disorders and ADHD. Evidence-based techniques are employed in treatment to equip patients with the ability to cope and succeed in daily life and achieve optimal wellness.
My goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in the African-American community, by providing a safe space to share challenges and disparities while increasing access to care.
