About
I work in a variety of ways in talk therapy to help you get what you want out of therapy. Most often that involves getting relief from painful emotional symptoms, improving personal relationships, becoming more productive in work, and being freed to take more pleasure from life. Therapy can also help you to gain greater control over your life, or change lifelong ways of coping that just aren't working as well as you'd like.
Talking things over in a safe and private environment allows you to understand yourself better, and allows me to help you identify self-destructive patterns of behavior. In this process we can unlock your creative potential, and prevent the past from interfering in the present.
As a Board Certified Psychiatrist and a Psychoanalyst, I can provide psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, and/or psychoanalysis. If you'd like to discuss whether or not we might work well together, please feel free to call. Sorry, I do not see patients for medications only.
