Patrick Mathiasen, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health care. Over the course of his career, he has served in a variety of clinical leadership and treatment roles, including as Medical Director of a Geriatric Psychiatry Center. Dr. Mathiasen provides care for adults experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other challenges that can interfere with overall well-being and daily functioning. Dr. Mathiasen grew up in the Midwest in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.
He completed his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He then moved to New York City, where he completed an Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Mathiasen enjoys spending time with his wife and family, traveling, and writing creative short stories.
