I believe in a holistic approach to mental health. I believe that we can achieve our best mental health by considering therapy, sleep, exercise, diet, and medication. I believe that my clients are all unique with their own life experiences and history that are important factors to consider in finding the best approach to their treatment. I approach behavioral health with a cognitive behavioral and logotherapy theoretical approach. I have treated clients across the lifespan. I have experience with patients struggling with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia.
I do prefer to create a collaborative relationship with my clients. I try to encourage honesty and sharing concerns to help maintain a good relationship. I want my clients to help drive their plan of care. My personal history and family's history have led me to have a heart for caring for those struggling with mental health needs.
Collaboration between the client and provider to determine what their needs and hopes are will help bring the best outcomes. I do like to understand my clients' history to determine what has or has not worked in the past as well as their history to determine the best way to help.
