My primary goal is to help individuals find wholeness through therapy and medication. I am prescribing and doing therapy in Maine. I work with adults and have experience working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, individuals in recovery and those struggling with chronic health issues. As a veteran myself working with military active duty, their spouses and veterans is a special interest. I enjoy working with first responders. I do prescribe in Maine but do not prescribe benzodiazepines at this time.
I am double boarded as both a family nurse practitioner and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have many years of counseling experience with special interests in women's issues, depression, anxiety, self esteem, adjustment to life transitions like divorce, recovery, work stress, mood disorders, and chronic health problems.
We will create a safe space where we can collaborate with curiosity and mindfulness learning coping strategies to cultivate a better life. I am committed to a holistic approach that considers the impact of body, mind and spirit on healing. Our first session is all about getting to know one another and determine if you are comfortable with me as a fit.
