As a faculty member at the Yale Child Study Center/Yale University School of Medicine and as one of the very few triple-boarded psychiatrists in the US (Pediatrics/Psychiatry/Child Psychiatry), Dr. Ayora's medical training offers a unique diagnostic approach. She has a broad medical experience working in pediatric Neurology, Neurosurgery and in the Pediatric Intensive Care at NYP/Columbia as a pediatrician. She later trained as an Adult and Child Psychiatrist and obtained additional training in Parent-Infant Psychotherapy and attachment-based interventions. Her extensive training provides her with a unique family-based approach.
