I have had a diverse background in Mental Health. Beginning as a Mental Health Registered Nurse working; in-patient, out-patient and Psychiatric Emergency care settings for 20 years. I graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2006 with board certification through American Nurses Association Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan). I have been trained to provide Primary Mental Health care to individuals and families from early childhood to older adults (8-65 years old).
My primary focus is to provide medication management; I may also provide brief supportive / solution focused or cognitive behavior therapy in some cases.
My goal is to provide a collaborative partnership with my clients and their families in order to help individuals make informed positive choices for themselves using a evidence based approach. I am currently not accepting new patient's at this time. Please check back for updates.
