I am a nationally board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Washington state. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University with a specialization in psychiatry and mental health. Prior to this, I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Governors University. I have been in healthcare since 1998, transitioning to mental health in 2016. I have worked with adult and adolescent populations in outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings. My experience includes diagnosis, treatment planning, stabilization, and management of new and established mental health conditions.
I assess and treat many different types of disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorders, and psychotic disorders. I value honesty and transparency and will bring those components into my therapeutic relationship with you. My practice offers medication management, psychoeducation, and some elements of therapy.
We all come from different backgrounds, I feel it is important to meet a person where they are and work toward common goals together.
