Balancing physical, mental, and emotional health is easier said than done. It is very important that we take accountability for the things that we can change and make the time to change them. Often, we're consumed with everything around us that sometimes we get lost in the mix; and it can be very difficult to re-center our purpose. It takes great endurance, confidence, will power and most of all faith to ask for help when we need it the most.
I always knew that the medical field was my road to travel. In that journey I have come across many diverse groups of people. Transitioning from a paramedic, registered nurse to a Family and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner allowed me to create a safe space filled with empathy, respect, compassion, understanding, and cultural awareness.
Some of the services offered within my practice are psychiatric evaluations, medication management; mental health concerns such as but not limited to depression, anxiety, anger management, PTSD, emergency crisis services. We also offer supportive services such as family support, and life coaching.
