Dr. Sina Safahieh hails from Austin, Texas. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed an adult psychiatry residency, and child & adolescent fellowship at UC Irvine. Dr. Safahieh graduated with highest honors with a BBA in Business Management from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently in private practice with offices in Newport Beach and Mission Viejo. Dr. Safahieh is fluent in Farsi and conversational Spanish

Welcome to my practice! As a Stanford trained adult psychiatrist, I provide care for clients with psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders. My area of focus is medication management and psychotherapy. I have many years of experience working with patients with complex psychopharmacology at the Stanford Bipolar Clinic and can assist guide proper and adequate medication management. I do accommodate Farsi Speaking patients.

Dr. Ara completed her fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (CLP) at UCLA. CLP is a subspecialty of psychiatry that focuses on treating mental health issues in patients with complex medical conditions. Before her fellowship training, she completed her psychiatry residency at the University of New Mexico and earned her M.D. degree from Tehran University.

I am a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist graduated from Wayne State University. I, also, completed Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Fellowship at Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute. As a resident, I was awarded Outstanding Empathy with Patients and Fellow Residents Award. As a psychiatrist attending, I was awarded Excellence in Teaching Award. I pride myself on listening closely and getting to know patient goals and preferences in a collaborative, non judgmental, and compassionate environment. I offer evidence-based, collaborative, and affirming mental health care to patients.

Dr. Nassry is a trained psychiatrist having completed her medical and psychiatric training at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in New York following the completion of her medical education at St. Matthew's University School of Medicine as well as a Bachelor's degree in Cellular and Molecular biology from Simon Fraser University. She combines her training and her innate interpersonal communication skills allowing her to work with ease with a multitude of patients and peers alike serving as an empathetic and knowledgeable psychiatrist.
