I am a graduate of the internationally renowned McLean Hospital of Harvard Medical School with additional fellowship training in geriatric psychiatry from the University of Washington School of Medicine. I deal with the entire spectrum of mental health conditions for anyone 18+ years. Unlike most practices which operate with brief, purely medication-oriented approaches, I spend time getting to know my clients' personal and family history, and how these may affect their well-being and treatment.

I am Dr. Angel Augustin, a board-certified psychiatrist based out of Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love! I completed my psychiatric training at the University of Pennsylvania. I have expertise in the treatment of various psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, low self-esteem, grief, cultural identity, and struggles with life transitions. I believe in taking a holistic and collaborative approach to creating a treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

Life is full of distractions, the expected and unexpected. Activities of daily living keep us from what we treasure most. These distractions cause problems in our relationships, at home, work, school and socially, disrupting the harmony between our inner self and the world around us. Talk therapy alone works in most situations. Talk treatments I use include psychoanalytic psychotherapy, insight oriented psychotherapy, supportive therapy and psychoanalysis. In some circumstances, the addition of medication is recommended and discussed.

Our offices provide a full range of services to treat your mental, emotional and psychological health. We conduct on-site assessments and testing for various conditions, and then put together an appropriate treatment plan, including medication management and/or psychotherapy services as needed. Our offices are also available for individual and family counseling. Our certified therapists will work with you to help manage issues with anger, anxiety, depression, guilt, abuse, grief, including certain traumas.

Ideally my patient is as invested in their care as I am. They could have a variety of diagnoses but the thing they have in common is they are willing to give the process time, are open to new ideas, and know there is no magic pill to fix all their problems. My patients want to get to the best version of themselves and are willing to try therapy as well as medications to help them reach that goal. My patient wants an empathetic, listening provider who can guide their care based on the evidence, but tailored to their individual needs.

Denise Miller, PMHNP Denise Miller is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2021. Denise offers patient centered care, providing supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and medication management. Outside of work, Denise volunteers at nursing homes and other public events with her therapy dog, fosters puppies for several rescues, and enjoys outdoor activities with family such as hiking and camping.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Stressful life events and symptoms like anxiety or depression can leave anyone feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck. My approach to treatment is to listen, first and foremost. We will work together to create an effective therapeutic space to explore who you are as a whole person, without judgment or pressure. As we identify the patterns in your history, feelings, and relationships, we will work towards a better understanding of what is getting in your way, and how you can move forward. A thoughtful use of psychiatric medications can also be an important part of feeling better.

Dr. James Yi provides comprehensive and individualized care for his patients while exercising the highest ethical standard. He is Board Certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Yi completed an Adult Psychiatry Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He has presented both nationally and internationally and has over a dozen peer-reviewed publications. He was Attending Psychiatry at CHOP and Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Pennsylvania.

I have practiced in various mental health areas with over ten years of experience providing care to children through geriatrics. I’ve always had a passion for the mental health specialty in caring for clients and providing positive client outcomes for themselves as well as their families. Dr. CONBOY DOES NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE. Dr. Conboy’s treatment philosophy centers around an empathic view of the person as a whole, and explores the patient’s past and present in order to understand his/her/their current thoughts and feelings. As a person attains a deeper understanding of self, this awareness may help with his/her/their life struggles. While psychotherapy is Dr. Conboy’s primary form of treatment, she also prescribes medications, and offers counseling in other evidence based treatments such as cardiovascular exercise, meditation, and yoga.
