I am a board-certified Child & Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist with more than 30 years experience providing conservative medication management and individual psychotherapy. I am certified as a Jungian analyst through the C.G.Jung Institute of Chicago. Therapy is Jungian-based and sometimes utilizes dreams, active imagination, sand tray, play therapy, even the tarot . Self-pay only; no insurance, medicaid, or medicare as my practice is small. NOTE: It takes approximately 2 months to schedule a new medication evaluation, usually less time for new therapy patients, no exceptions. You must leave a message to receive a return call.
For 21 years I was on faculty at the University of Utah in the Department of Psychiatry where I taught, treated patients, and conducted research. My psychodynamic psychotherapy training was competed through the Denver Psychoanalytic Institute. I completed my training in Jungian analysis through the CG Jung Institute of Chicago.
Residency: Utah Triple Board Program (Peds, Psych, Child Psych). Certified Jungian Analyst. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy training through the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis. Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association.
