I am a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist whose work is centered on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I help patients better understand themselves, their relationships, and longstanding emotional patterns.
I have served on the faculty at McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School as a clinician, educator, and administrator. My training includes psychopharmacology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, mood disorders, early or emerging mental health concerns, and psychosis risk states. My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychoanalysis and informed by both insight-oriented and skills-based treatments when helpful.
At this time, I accept young adult and adult patients for psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis only. I do not currently accept patients for ongoing primary psychopharmacology or pediatric psychiatry treatment.
