The first half of my residency training was in the Family Medicine Dept. at the University of Iowa, and the second was in Psychiatry at the University of South Alabama, where I am an Adjunct Professor. Psychiatry was the natural choice because I enjoy having the time to listen and understand in order to personalize recommendations.

Dr. Stephanie Chiao is a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist. She approaches clinical situations with a keen interest in the multitude of factors that impact emotional health, and works with her clients to analyze the emotional, developmental, biological, interpersonal, and cultural variables influencing their lives.

I've been in practice as a psychiatrist for more than 20 years, and feel very fortunate that for me, my work is a calling. Skilled both in psychotherapy and medication management, I work highly collaboratively with patients and their other providers. As a psychotherapist my work draws on extensive training in AEDP, EMDR, and other modalities. As a prescriber of medication my knowledge base is quite deep and vigorously maintained. I completed my residency at Harvard Medical School in 1994, and was on faculty at UCSF until 1998. I have offices in Sonoma County and in San Francisco.

I'm Toni, an accomplished healthcare professional, holding a Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice. Licensed in 39 states, I have certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) from AANP and ANCC. My educational journey encompasses a Master's in Nursing (FNP) and a Bachelor's in Nursing. Additionally, I have diverse training, including ADN, LPN, and MA, providing me with a comprehensive foundation in healthcare. I serve as the VP of Nursing at Landmark Recovery. I lead strategic initiatives to ensure high-quality care and foster excellence in education and research.
