I'm a bilingual (English and Spanish) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and it's a privilege to be a part of your mental health journey. As a Marine Corps veteran with over 13 years of healthcare experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I bring a unique blend of discipline, compassion, and expertise to the table. Some of my favorite hobbies include going to the gym, watching football, playing basketball, golf, and grilling out by the pool with friends and family.
Education is of essence. Educating patients on their diagnosis is vital in their treatment plan. I treat young children to older adults whose needs vary from a wide range of mental health disorders, including adhd, depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and more. My goal is to connect with all my patients, using an honest, warm, and relatable approach.
To build rapport and trust with my patients. I discover what impairs my patient's quality of life and then assess his or her overall mental, emotional, and physical health. Each session leaves my patients feeling at peace, with a clear direction of their goals, as we work together to achieve wellness and an enhanced quality of life!
