I am here to provide guidance, expertise, and treatment approaches for stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, concentration problems, relationship difficulties, drug or alcohol use, or life/career transitions. No matter what their age, many of the clients who eventually find me have done everything they can on their own and/or with the help of loved ones to manage these issues and are just in need of a little more information, help and support. They are all seeking a professional who can offer insight into what is happening with them or their loved one and provide an assortment of treatment approaches.

Blossom Psychiatric Services, is a family operated business offering compassionate patient centered therapeutic care and understanding with responsible psychiatric medication management . We are welcoming clients interested in an initial 90 minute Psychiatric Evaluation "in person" followed by 30 minute "tele-psych" follow ups thereafter. Provider will NOT prescribe for IR stimulants or benzodiazepine over use.

PEC (Psychiatric Empowerment Center) applies to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition by American Psychiatric Association to evaluate if your signs and symptoms fit the criteria for psychiatric disorders. Treatments are client-centered and follows the FDA guidelines and the most current and reliable scientific research. Treatment plan is co-designed by PEC and you; addressing your short and long term goals, prioritizing your most urgent concerns to improve your overall health and functioning.

I have over 10 years of nursing experience in various positions and settings. While working extensively with adults of all ages, I found a passion in the mental health field. I have a deep interest in integrative care and believe that mental health must be addressed from multiple fronts.

I have over 13 years of nursing experience and have worked in numerous settings including medical oncology, med surg, surgery, infusion therapy, and nurse navigation. My most recent position before joining Mindful Minds Psychiatry, I worked as a registered nurse on an acute inpatient psychiatric unit where we treated adult patients with various mental health disorders including mood, anxiety, psychotic illnesses, substance use, and disorders requiring acute stabilization.

I have been a Family Practice M.D. for the last 45 years. Throughout that time, I have always been interested most in Mental Health. In the last 10 years working as a gerontologist,I realized that caring for Mental Health was really more than a field of strong interest; but had become the area where I really wanted to serve. My passion to serve for the last three years. has evolved into starting a private practice devoted only to Mental Heath issues.
