My patients are often battling the shortage of mental health care and unable to get help when they need it the most. My clients have been coping with anxiety of the future or depression of the past and need someone who will believe their experience. My patients have been living with mental illness, in varying degrees, which has inhibited their potential socially and personally.

I am currently only taking child and adolescent medication-management patients. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in treating children and adolescents. I practice a family systems approach and understand the child’s/adolescent’s functioning within the unit of their family system. I think of the family system as its own unique biome with established patterns of behaviors, values, and ideas, and each of these themes are explored in our sessions.

My ideal patient is someone who is willing to collaborate with me to create the best treatment plan possible for their unique needs. Over the years, I had professional affiliations with reputable mental health facilities including Bakersfield behavior, John George psych and more.
